Are you or someone you know looking for experience in the nature field this summer?  EWBC is offering four Summer Intern positions.  Details below:
  • Summer Admissions Clerk:  This is a 10 hour a week position on summer evenings from 3 pm to 8 pm, June through August.  The Admission Clerk will be collecting admissions and program fees from visitors, as well as giving information about the Center, our upcoming events, activities and volunteer opportunities.
  • Grounds Technician: We have two 15 hour a week positions to help our Grounds keeping staff maintain our extensive 3.5 acre butterfly garden and 2.5 miles of walking trails.  Responsibilities include weeding, mulching, trimming trees,and maintaining trails and water features.  The schedule is 7 am to 12 pm for Monday through Weds or Weds through Friday.
  • Nursery Technician: We are seeking applicants with some background in native plants, gardening or general plant care, to assist us with our Native Plant Nursery and Community Garden.  Duties include watering, transplanting, weeding, and specialized plant care techniques.  This is a 14 hour a week position with four hours on Saturday morning and two five hour workweek days. 
EWBC also has a position opened for a part-time Groundskeeper 2.  This position is a year-round 25 hour a week position, Tuesday through Saturday.
